HISTORY
The Live Oak Child Care Center has been in operation since 1977. It was conceived and constructed by members of its sponsoring agent, The Live Oak Church of the Brethren.

Our Philosophy, Goals, & Objectives
- To provide the best quality child development program possible.
- To provide as much child care and family service possible to the total population in our service area.
- To provide activities to promote a healthy self-concept for each child and promote his/her self-esteem.
- To provide children with a healthy, stable, caring, and nurturing environment where imagination and free play are encouraged.
- To encourage use of the Center by the community and involve the community in fund raising activities to strengthen center/community bonds.
- To establish strong bonds and keep communication open among staff, parents, community, and the Board of Directors.
- To provide activities that are developmentally appropriate for all children enrolled in the program.
- To instill in each child a lifetime love of learning.
